2021 ISA100 Wireless Excellence in Automation Award - EnQuest UK (August 17th, 2022 - 11 AM Eastern Time, USA)

Each year, the ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute presents the ISA100 Wireless Excellence In Automation Award to a global end-user company that has demonstrated outstanding leadership and innovation with ISA100 Wireless technology. The ISA100WCI is pleased to announce the 2021 Excellence In Automation Award has been presented to EnQuest UK.

This webinar will present EnQuest UK's award winning implementation of, and work with, ISA100 Wireless technology.  See below for additional details.

Title: A new approach to gas detection - Achieving a safe and secure system upgrade on a vast scale

Description:  This presentation discusses the challenges in complexity and scale of upgrading the gas detection across an entire terminal in one project. This includes a major step-change by gaining approval for wireless detection as the detection technology.  The cyber security capabilities of the system were a key focus, of which the 128bit AES encryption was critical.

The system widely employs dual redundancy for maximum communication resilience, giving more data than a traditional wired system which is then easily absorbed in to the existing ICSS (Integrated Control & Shutdown System). These process values and preventive maintenance data are then used to influence maintenance regimes across the gas detection system to more efficiently deploy engineering resources.
