HIKOB Joins the ISA100 Wireless™ Compliance Institute

Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA (6 October 2014) – The ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute announced today that France-based HIKOB has joined the ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute. HIKOB specializes in building and supporting wireless autonomous multi-points data acquisition systems.
HIKOB systems are provided as fully integrated hardware and software platforms, built to collect complex data and support advanced data processing algorithms. The systems are quick and easy to install, and able to be deployed in all contexts and field types, such as road operations, traffic and parking, civil engineering structure monitoring, industrial machine condition monitoring, live coverage of sporting events and inertial measurements and positioning systems.
“HIKOB products add a multiplication of measurement points and reduce installation and maintenance costs over traditional wired installations,” said Guillaume Chelius, CEO, HIKOB. “ISA100 Wireless will help make our products even more efficient and, ultimately, help us deliver a better, more cost-effective system to our customers.”

About ISA100 Wireless™
ISA100 Wireless (IEC 62734) is an international, industrial wireless networking and communications standard engineered to serve the needs of process industries. With native IPv6 networking and object architecture, ISA100 Wireless extends the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) to wireless.  End users can select ISA100 Wireless Compliant™ devices from a best-of-breed pool of suppliers with assurances of device interoperability. ISA100 Wireless enables automation engineers to quickly create, modify, optimize, and scale wireless networks that are open, interoperable, and reliable for their most critical applications. ISA100 Wireless is the first standard in the ISA100 family of open standards.
Built from the ground up and driven by user requirements, the ISA100 Wireless standard received formal ANSI approval in January 2012 and approval as IEC 62734 in September 2014.  ISA100 Wireless is the only IPv6, 6LowPAN industrial protocol designed for industrial automation.  ISA100 Wireless meets requirements of ETSI EN 300 328 v1.8.1 for coexistence with nearby 2.4 GHz radio devices.
HIKOB is a leading provider of wireless autonomous multipoint data acquisition systems to capture information on the field and learn from reality, in all contexts and conditions.
Provided as a fully integrated hardware and software platform, HIKOB systems collect complex data and support advanced data processing algorithms. Quick and easy to install, long lasting, HIKOB systems enable not only the multiplication of measurement points but also deployments in all contexts and all type of fields, while avoiding the installation and maintenance costs of traditional wired systems. HIKOB systems serve mission-‐critical applications in the fields of intelligent transport systems and road operations, civil structures and field monitoring, live coverage of sports events and data acquisition in R&D processes.
HIKOB is headquartered in Lyon (France) and has a global presence through business partners and value added resellers around the world.
