ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute Certifies Three Yokogawa ISA100 Wireless™ Products
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA (10 June 2015) – The ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute announced today that Yokogawa Electric Corporation has released three new products that have all successfully achieved ISA100 Wireless certification. The ISA100 Wireless certification provides assurance that the devices will interoperate in any ISA100 Wireless compliant network.
The FN110 Field Wireless Communication Module includes an ISA100 Wireless protocol stack and is the most recent ISA100 Wireless Compliant stack to be certified. The high-performance, built-in wireless communication module is compact, lightweight and offers excellent radio sensitivity with low power consumption. The FN310 Field Wireless Multi-protocol Module is a protocol converter that enables wired communication protocols (HART, MODBUS, and more) to be transmitted through ISA100 Wireless networks. The FN310 comes with built in batteries, eliminating the need for cables and providing installation flexibility that would have otherwise been cost prohibitive. The FN510 Field Wireless Multi-Function Module transmits multiple types of sensor signals from wired devices through ISA100 Wireless networks. The FN510 Multi-Function module supports multiple forms of inputs and outputs, including analog input, digital input, digital output, and pulse input, enabling wired legacy sensors to participate in an ISA100 Wireless network.
